Weekend Fun

Last Friday Steve and I went to eat at Joe's Crab Shack, it was quite tasty. I haven't been there since high school and I forgot what a fun atmosphere it was. Everyone in the restaurant participated in singing happy birthday to multiple people while the poor celebrate-es did silly things. We had a blast though Steve didn't want to wear the bib (only for the few seconds of taking the picture.

After dinner we went to the new Adam Sandler movie which was inappropriately hilarious. It was a great night out, dinner and a movie, who could ask for more?

On Saturday we enjoyed a picnic lunch with Steve's family at a neighboring lake. Janet brought some wonderful food, and conveniently all the bugs went away when we sat down to eat.

After we said goodbye to Steve's family Steve and I went to Elitch Gardens, the Six Flags here in Denver. We did one drift around the lazy river and decided it was too cold for playing in the water. We enjoyed the rest of the day riding the ferris wheel and we even got up the guts to ride the teacups. (Last year we went to Elitches and rode the teacups first and went right home because it made us both sick.) We also watched an interesting acrobatic show.

We need to find some friends to go with us next time so that Steve can ride all of the roller coasters.
