Summer Fun! (and not so fun)

Summer is underway and super fun at our house!  The boys love playing in the backyard with the playhouse.

 We have tot summer camp once a week where our little friends come and play with us and we do activities based around Ethan's developmental range.  Cooper hangs out with us and is a big helper!

 We had a devastating hail storm last week and it trashed our garden :(

 The big beautiful plants with flowers were reduced to broken stems.

 These are a few pictures from the next day.  Poor tomatoes.  Hopefully everything will be thriving again soon.

 The day after the hail storm we went to the park.  Little did we know that swimming would be an option because the park was flooded from the storm.

 We have started our ASL/Spanish class at the park for the summer time and it's a lot of fun!

 Ethan is VERY interested in trains lately.  We spend hours making train tracks and running the trains around.

 We went to Tiny Town last week as well.  It is a little boardwalk with miniature replicas of buildings found in the Denver area.

 They also had a train (which we rode twice).

 Cooper loved giving Alexxa pine cones as presents.  Silly boy.

 The second time we rode the train they got to ride in the caboose.

 We harvested a few peas and tomatoes after the storm, but they looked quite sad.

 Once a week we also have a preschool summer camp where the moms stay and everyone from our playgroup is invited.  This week's theme was camping and safari.

 After playing with friends all day and no nap Cooper fell asleep on the chair while reading a book.  I love that he loves books.  It makes me so happy!
